Travel Tips on Travel Insurance
"I don’t need Travel Insurance." Famous last words of a traveler who becomes ill before a trip or on the trip. Or the blizzard in Denver Dec 20th, 2006!
We never know what may happen to us so Travel insurance IS recommended. Trip cancellation and medical insurance may provide for.... Sickness, injury, death of a travel companion or family members, Baggage loss, delay, or damage, Pre-departure cancellation, Emergency Evacuation, Trip Interruption.

| GENERAL PACKING TIPS |

Print out this list!
- For washcloths, tear an old towel into squares and leave them behind along the way. Wash cloths ( are not provided in Europe).
- Keep underwear in plastic bags to keep them organized. Clean vs. Dirty.
- Take plenty of dollar bills for tipping and leave the coins at home.
- Take a separate wallet/coin purse to carry foreign money.
- Leave a list of traveler’s checks numbers at home and a copy of your Passport.
- Bring Snacks.
- Take a grocery (plastic) sack for dirty clothes.
- Don’t forget your Sun Glasses, Sun Block and a Sun Hat for protection.
- Bring your first aid kit - include band-aids, anti itch creams, eye drops.
- Small candle (In case power goes out) and matches.
- Use dry cleaner plastic sacks to separate clothes so they don’t wrinkle.
- Bring a calculator for changing foreign currency.
- Binoculars for watching the scenery.
- Camera and Film - bring your own as it is generally cheaper to bring it than to purchase it and batteries.
- Travel Alarm - if you have a time schedule for your vacation.
- Flashlight with new batteries if you plan on any evening walks.
- Dictionary for foreign languages.
- Address book, Stamps, Pen and Pencil to send postcards.
- Umbrella for protection from rain and too much sun.
- Clothesline and clips so you can rinse out clothes and dry them.
- Ivory liquid (works for laundry, hair and body).
- Put Bottles in zip lock bags (no mess on your clothes).
- Don’t forget your Electrical converter for foreign travel.
- Always have Traveler’s Checks.
- Bring a second copy of your itinerary with phone numbers and addresses of Hotels.
- Keep Tickets in a safe place!
- Keep your Passports/ Visa with you at all times!
